Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shoot Friday, February 3rd Beginning about 2:30ish in the gym Participating students have to be ages 9-14 (9 on or before January 1st). 12-14-year-old boys will use the men's basketball. Parents/Guardians are welcome to come to watch.

📢TDA BASKETBALL GAMES FOR TONIGHT📢 Due to the incoming weather we will be starting the GIRLS VARSITY @ 4:30 with the BOYS VARSITY to follow tonight in Burke. We will NOT have any JV games.

On Wednesday most of our Seniors, Mrs. Knodel, and Mrs. Kriz were able to go to the State Capital in Pierre to meet with the District 21 representatives and watch the South Dakota state legislature work! Thank you to Mrs. Knodel for giving the kids this experience and to Mrs. Kriz for helping supervise!

UPCOMING HEARING SCREENING NOTIFICATION The South Dakota School for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our school, for grades 11th, 7th, and K—3rd. THIS YEAR, HEARING SCREENINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON: Janurary 31st @ 1 pm If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our school will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at: South Dakota School for the Deaf- Main Clinic 4101 W. 38th St Suite 101 Sioux Falls, SD 57106 PH: 605-367-5200 If you do NOT want your child to participate in the hearing screening, please contact your child’s school prior to the date listed above (724-2153), or your child will be included as planned.

Yesterday afternoon our NHS students had the opportunity to work with older adults and help them with technology. It was a great experience for our kids and we are thankful for Tanya Urquieta and our NHS advisor Sherry Bruinsma for lining up this event. Also, thanks to the Armour Brewery for hosting! Congratulations to Preston Koster on being selected as the “Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week”!! Preston received a $250 scholarship from our local Energy Cooperative - Douglas Electric. Jay Spaans presented Preston with his check. Preston was also interviewed by Dakota News Now which will be aired on Monday, January 16th at 6:00 PM and also Tuesday, January 17th between 6:00-7:00 AM. Preston will attend a banquet with all winners in the spring with a chance of a $500 or $1000 dollar scholarship. Great job Preston! Keep up the good work. We are proud of you.

Armour School Board meeting scheduled for Monday, January 9 has been moved to Thursday, January 12 at 6:30pm.

🏀POSTPONED BASKETBALL GAMES🏀 The TDA Doubleheader versus Kimball/White Lake scheduled for January 3rd in Kimball have been postponed to January 16th. The Girls Junior Varsity will start at 1:00 PM in Kimball on the 16th.
