TDA Golfers had another wonderful day on the golf course. Everyone on the team did really well and it was a great day to be outside. For the JV we had Matt Messer place 7th and Skyler Thomas 13th. In Junior High we had Beckett Erlandson place 1st and Bradyn Hollenbeck place 15th. In Junior High Girls, Morgan Fink placed 2nd! Great day to be a Nighthawk!

REMINDERS:
If you would like your children to partake in the Vision screenings on Monday, April 28th, please have forms signed and returned by Friday, April 25th. These screenings are for ages 1-18.
If your child won the DCMH coloring contest, and you would like their picture to be posted on their website, please sign and return the DCMH consent form as soon as possible.
If you have children not in school and still need circus tickets, please let Mrs. Bigge know or stop by her office to pick up some.

DCMH Easter Coloring Contest Winners for grades PK3-8th!!!
*parents, your child came home with an envelope with a prize and a release consent for the hospital to gain permission to post your child's picture on their webpage. Please sign and return that form to the school as soon as possible and we will get it to them*



🏃🏃♀️Here is the schedule for the Junior High Track Meet in Corsica!


This week, students came across the word "strop."
Our amazing Mrs. Cartney brought "life to a word" by telling them she has her great-grandfather’s strop, which she brought to school today to show students and explain what it was used for.


TDA Golf had a great first meet on Tuesday April 15th. We took 4 Junior Varsity golfers and 8 Junior High golfers. The Junior Varsity golfed a tough course in Burke while the Junior High Golf had a challenging course as well in Gregory. Matt Messer was able to secure the 11th spot out of 46 JV golfers. Morgan Fink took 1st place in a large group of 48 JH girls. Jackson took home 2nd place in the JH with Beckett Erlandson 6th and Braden Hollenbeck taking 11th. There was 72 JH boys. Other golfers that didn't place had a good day and had wonderful golfing weather.







SkillsUSA Armour chapter had huge amount of success at the recent State Leadership Conference and Competitions on April 10th and 11th. We were able to take 15 competitors this year. They competed in Welding fabrication, Teamworks Carpentry, Photography, Job interview and Chapter Display. The Armour students took home a ribbon in every category that we entered. They took gold in the Teamworks, Photography, and Chapter Display. The students took Silver in a very tough Welding fabrication contest. The students took home Gold, Silver and Bronze in the Job interview competition. They did such a great job and represented Armour School District very well.







South Dakota KIDSIGHT Vision Screenings are set for Monday, April 28th, at Armour Elementary School for children ages 1 to 18.
Consent Forms will go home with students today. If you have children who are not in school yet and would like screened, please contact Mrs. Bigge at 605-724-2153 or stop in for a consent form and sign up.


Kindergarten Round-Up


Circus Tickets will come home today or tomorrow with your children in PK-6th grade.
If you have children who are not in school yet and need tickets, please let Mrs. Bigge know, and she can send tickets home for you.

Trying something different.
Teachers would like to recognize their classes as a whole, so we are asking families to join us in celebrating their hard work and efforts over the school year and then join them for an afternoon of fun.
